The Smart Spenderz (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the The Smart Spenderz website (the “Service”), which includes the Smart Password Generator Google Sheets™ Add-on (the “App”) available through our Service.

We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) may include, but is not limited to:

App Data Handling
The Smart Password Manager Google Sheets™ Add-on operates entirely within your personal Google Drive™ environment and your Google Sheet™. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or password information outside of your personal Google Sheet™. All your usernames, passwords, and generation criteria are stored exclusively within the Google Sheet™ document on your Google Drive™. We do not have access to your Google Sheet™ or any data within it.
The App processes data strictly within your Google Sheet™ to perform its stated functions. The permissions granted to the App include:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets: This scope grants the App permission to “See, edit, create, and delete all your Google Sheets™ spreadsheets.”- How the App uses this permission: The App utilizes this permission to read password criteria (length, character types) from the add-on’s UI and to write the newly generated password to the designated cell in the active Google Sheet™. This scope is also required for the app’s monetization model, as it needs to open a separate, developer-owned Google Sheet™ to validate a one-time license key. The app’s access is limited to the current sheet for password generation and a single, specific sheet for license key validation.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.container.ui: This scope allows the App to interact with the Google Sheet’s™ user interface to create custom menus and display alerts.
Data Retention and Deletion (Specific to Google User Data):
Since the App operates solely within your Google Sheet™ on your Google Drive™, we do not collect, retain, or store any Google user data on our servers. All data, including generated passwords and input criteria, resides entirely within your Google Sheet™. You, as the owner of the Google Sheet™, have full control over the retention and deletion of this data by managing your Google Sheet™ file directly within Google Drive™ (e.g., by deleting the sheet or its contents, or by removing the App’s access via your Google Account™ security settings).
No data from the App is sent to external servers, analyzed, or used for any purpose other than the immediate functionality of the App within your Google Sheet™. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any data processed by the App with third parties.
Log Data
We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
Cookies
Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
We use “cookies” to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.
Service Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Please note that the security of your data within the Google Sheet™ App is dependent on the security of your Google Account™. We strongly recommend using a strong, unique password for your Google Account™ and enabling 2-Factor Authentication (2FA). The App stores passwords in plain text within your Google Sheet™; it does not provide cryptographic encryption of your data beyond what Google Sheets™ natively offers for data at rest within Google Drive™. It is not a substitute for dedicated, encrypted password manager software.
Links To Other Sites
Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.
We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.
Children’s Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our servers immediately.12
Compliance With Laws3
We will disclose your Personal Information where required to do so by law or su4bpoena. The App operates within the Google Workspace platform and adheres to Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
